Comparative and Superlative (Exercises)


      A.      Write the sentences with comparative forms

Example:
This jumper/soft/that one
This jumper is softer than that one

     Read the poem

      Bears are large, but elephants are larger.
      Deer move fast, but cheetahs move faster.
      Mice are small, but beetles are smaller.
      Snakes are thin, but worms are thinner.
      Swans are pretty, but peacocks are prettier.
      Sharks are big, but whales are bigger.
      Mother is old, but grandmother is older.
